Construction for the current building of the Delphos Post Office began in 1933. Typically, towns the size of Delphos would have had a much smaller post office; however, there was a large broom factory and a large egg processing plant in town. Each of these companies mailed their products, which required the post office facility be spaciouse enough to handle a larger than normal volume of mail. |
